Instead of using an offset printer to print hundreds or thousands of copies of books at once, we specialize in printing copies as they are ordered. With our on-demand printing approach, there’s no need to store stacks of books in your house or pay for a warehouse to store them. You can simply get the amount of books you need. We can also provide drop shipping services in case you decide you want to supply others with your books. We’ll print the books for you and ship the order directly to the customer on your behalf. Simply choose one of our packages and submit your payment. We’ll give you access to our client portal, where you’ll be able to securely upload your files to us.

We’ll send you electronic proofs for review
After we check your files and/or designs, we’ll send you the final electronic proofs (eproofs) with barcode for your review and approval.

A printed proof sent to your doorstep for approval
After you approve your eproofs, we’ll send the print ready files to the printer and then print the proof. We’ll overnight the proof to you via UPS Next Day Air.

Order copies for yourself or drop ship to others
Once you receive the printed proof and send us your approval, you’ll be able to order copies of your book.

What is Print-On-Demand?
Print-on-demand book printing is a process in which copies are only printed after an order is placed, whether from the author or consumer.
Is Print-On-Demand Printing High-Quality?
Yes! In fact, many traditional publishers utilize print-on-demand (POD) for various titles. Simon & Schuster uses POD technology for many titles, as does Harper Collins and Hachette Book Group. The average consumer cannot tell the difference between POD and offset book printing. Our printer performs 10 quality control checks on printed books before they are even packed!
How Fast Are POD Books Printed?
For books that are sold through retail (e.g. Amazon), we’re usually able to print and ship within a day or two. For an author order, you will typically receive your book order within a week including transit. You can choose an expedited printing and shipping option if you need your books sooner.
I Already Have My Book Cover and Interior. Can You Just Print the Book?
Yes, we can handle just the book printing for you for a setup fee plus the cost of printing and shipping, although the vast majority of our author clients also hire us for distribution and marketing/publicity through our comprehensive self-publishing packages.
Will You Distribute My Book?
All of our self-publishing packages include distribution, which means your book will be distributed to 39,000+ wholesalers, retailers and libraries in 195 countries, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Powell’s, Walmart.com and more.
What Are Your Shipping Options?
UPS ground is our default option for domestic author orders. You can choose expedited shipping if you prefer, e.g. UPS 2nd Day or UPS Next Day Air. If you live outside of the United States, we normally choose DHL or a similar shipping service. All options include tracking.
Do You Print Books In Landscape or Portrait Orientation?
We only offer one landscape option: 11 x 8.5″. All other trim sizes are portrait orientation.
What File Types Do You Accept?
If you have your own design files, we need a PDF for the interior and JPG for the cover (both should be high resolution 300dpi), along with the source files, e.g. InDesign and Photoshop. We want the source files in order to easily add the barcode and update the copyright page with a proper copyright notice and ISBN, etc. If you have questions during the process, your assigned project manager will walk you through each step leading up to the printing of your book.
Can You Print Books with Spiral Ring Binding?
No, at this time we do not use spiral ring binding on any of our print products.
How Much Does It Cost to Print Books?
The price of book printing depends on several factors including book format (paperback or hardcover), whether the interior is color or B&W, and final page count. It’s best to get in touch with us for a quote.
