C.J. HudsonI would like to take this opportunity to thank J.J. Hebert for his help resolving a misunderstanding between myself and Mindstir. There was a pay issue which stemmed from a misunderstanding between myself and the folks from the lower echelon of the company. In frustration, I put a review both here and on bbb expressing my concerns and JJ contacted me personally regarding it. I expressed my frustrations, and he expressed his concerns, and we worked out a compromise. Within minutes the funds were transferred right over, resolving the issue quickly (and I retracted my reviews because of the resolution). Because JJ honored his word, we were able to come to a very positive conclusion for both parties. On a separate note, I would also like to express my gratitude to Mindstir for giving my (20x award winning, 3 category Amazon Best-Selling *cheap plug*) book "Destiny Lives on Fairhaven Street" a GORGEOUS cover. I fell in love with this cover, it was that good. I was fortunate enough to have Destiny win a bunch of awards after being rejected 138 times by various publishers and agents. After the awards, I received contract offers from three different publishers (one of which was the second one to reject me), which lead me to cancelling my contract with Mindstir. Mindstir understood and honored my request, but I couldn't get the bloody cover matched with my new publisher because the person who made it at Mindstir left the company. Mindstir did the best they could to give me the specs. While the new cover turned out well, I would have loved to of had that replication of what Mindstir did. Being the origin of truth in an eternal Universe makes one a God. The electron has not been proven to be divisible meaning it has not been proven to be finite. Thus, how does Jesus whom with recorded evidence claimed to be the truth eliminate idolatry? Idoaltry is a difficult problem to address, because once in Heaven if the cause of creation revealed itself then it would fit the definition of an Idol. Idolatry means you don't have to do anything and God does everything. Jesus prevents this from happening and requires us to do several things as described in God Is Proven. Many Christians think that when they are Baptized they now have a free ticket to Heaven. The purpose of Baptism is to get you ready for Judement not to get you out of Judegment. Thus, many Christians whom thought they were not going to be judged at death got surprised. Judement is the tool Jesus uses to eliminate Idolatry. Anyone whom states otherwise is promoting Jesus as an Idol. Jesus was not of the white race, he was mixed race: Arab-Black. Promoting Jesus as white is Idolatry. Mindstir changed my mind about my low expectations as they quickly dug into the contours of my reading market and blasted the media with notice of my book and its strengths. With targeted press releases and social media placements, Mindstir raised the visibility of the book and placed it strategically where it might most likely be noticed. I was able to use that exposure and credibility to approach bloggers and set the stage for potential readers to see that this was a book that came with great reviews, endorsement, and credibility. Our handsome book was printed on quality paper and is simply beautiful. I can't claim that sales of our books have been good, but I know that obscurity is the fate of almost every self-published book. I selected Mindstir Media the first time as a result of doing extensive research of numerous other publishing companies in order to compare what I saw and read. Of all the ones I found Mindstir Media was the only one that seemed to produce professional looking products in the children's books category. Some of the other companies had books that had an immediate look of a "published at home" self-publishing effort rather than a polished, professional product. My feedback from many of the parents and grandparents over the years have always been extremely positive after purchasing my "Talen" books. The two things always mentioned are - the look of the books are beautifully illustrated and bound and that the stories are wonderful and relevant. I looked at several book publishing companies, comparing the pros and cons, and spent hours and hours "interviewing" them on the phone. Hands down the winner was Mindstir Media -- and did I ever choose wisely! You can trust their customer service (not so much the case with the other companies I looked at who sent me emails with the wrong quote and started the email out with someone else's name); you can trust that MindStir Media's designers will create an eye-catching cover for your work; you can trust your own personal project manager (thanks, Rob!) to look after your project step-by-step through the process (again, not the case with other publishers); and you'll get as many proofs as you need until it's perfect (something for which other companies charge). Oh, but wait, you also get J.J. Hebert. He is personally interested in your work, graciously offers his advice and expertise, and is incredibly responsive to any questions you have. Honestly, I don't know why you would look anywhere else. Check out the quality of my book, "Your Body's Environmental Chemical Burden," and see for yourself (due out late fall of 2018.) T LoveMindStir Media was a Godsend for me. I was ready to sign with another publisher when I received the contract via email. The contract did not reflect anything we discussed - and the price I was given was $2,000 higher than I was told in phone conversations. I did NOT sign that contract. Instead, I opted to Google chidlren's book publishers all the while asking for some kind of guidance. Up popped MindStir which I did not notice in prior searches. I clicked on the link, read a bit and completed the form to schedule a phone conversation with the owner, JJ, the next day. He called. We spoke and in a matter of 3 hours, I received the contract, exactly as we discussed, returned a signed copy and I was on my way. They kept their word. Everything they told me they would do, they did. I'm a first time author. I know nothing about this industry and to be really fair, I'm not so sure I wrote the book I published. I told them I typed it in 47 minutes, that's not writing a book, that's taking dictation from . . . the Universe? The book was launched in August 2017. It took only 6 months from contract to finished product. I worked with an amazing illustrator who understood what I was looking for and executed it beautifully. MindStir listens, they pay attention to the details, they walked me through the process and were most patient - again, first time author. I am currently (2018) in the process of having my second book illustrated with them. They made what could be a stressful experience very easy and for that I am so very grateful.
