1. We find at least 10 book websites/blogs with big followings of readers interested in your genre or niche. We ask them for an opportunity to share, review or write about your new book. This is a great marketing opportunity for authors to reach a larger audience than a traditional book tour. The virtual book tour will include interviews, spotlights, and excerpts. We aim to have at least one blog/interview site participate daily.
2. While booking the tour, we also perform a book spotlight/book blitz. This is a single-day event on multiple readers’ websites and social media; it’s a fun way to get your book in front of many new readers. A book blitz is like a book tour with no interviews or reviews, just simply promoting the book. It usually includes your book cover, descriptions, and purchase links. We aim to get around 15 people to participate in the one-day event.
3. The 3rd part of the book tour is Bookstagram day. Bookstagram is a niche corner of the internet for book lovers. Using the hashtag #bookstagram, millions and millions of book-related photos are posted by people worldwide. We get your book seen via this hashtag.
During the tour and as a wrap-up of the Virtual Book Tour, we provide the author with direct links to all posts for their book tour on a spreadsheet (for each author, we create a spreadsheet and update it as things happen with different links).
